  3. Backup/Restore favorites

Should you choose to backup your file's manually, you may of course do so. The following are the standard locations for Avant Browser;

Windows 9x/ME

Settings*: [Drive]:\Windows\Application Data\Avant Browser
Skins: [Drive]:\Program Files\Avant Browser\Skins
Favorites: [Drive]:\Windows\Favorites

Windows NT/2000/XP/Server 2003

Settings*: [Drive]:\Documents and Settings\<Your_Username>\Application Data\Avant Browser
Skins: [Drive]:\Program Files\Avant Browser\Skins
Favorites: [Drive]:\Documents and Settings\<Your_Username>\Favorites

Note: [Drive] is the letter of the drive that Windows is installed on, the standard being C

* This folder also contains your URL Alias and Quick Search list's, Groups, Homepages, AD/Pop-up Blocker lists and thus, it is usually a good idea to backup the whole folder, rather than just the main settings file.
