What is the Records Cleaner?

The cleaner is a feature within Avant Browser that allows you to "clean" (erase) things you would rather weren't stored such as, history, passwords, typed addresses, cookies etc.

Using the cleaner

To use the cleaner, you can either go via Avant Browser Options > Clear Records, or via the Tools > Clear Records menu.

Avant Browser includes support for clearing all items at once, clearing items individually, and additionally, clearing items upon closing Avant Browser.

The latter of the 3 can be set by ticking the "Automatically clear checked item(s) every time exit Avant Browser" option. This option can be found at Tools > Avant Browser Options > Clear Records.
