Avant Browser Help - Searching the internet

We all have to use search engines some time, and Avant makes this extremely simple for you.

With the built in Search Bar, and customisable Quick Search options, you could be searching multiple search engines without all of the hassle of visiting website's first.

If you do not already have the search bar visible, you can enable it by clicking View menu, and ticking Search Bar.

Seaching with Avant browser

Avant Browser provides built-in search engine, which is powered by yahoo and Google, the most powerful search engine in the world. The built-in search engine of Avant Browser can search web pages, images, groups, directories, news, lyrics and software in the Internet.

To search the Internet, please follow the following steps:

1. Click the search button on the toolbar to show the panel of the search engine.

2. Choose the content you want to search (web pages, images, groups, directories, news, lyrics or software).

3. Enter keywords.

4. Click button Search to get search results.

Using web page context menu to search the Internet:

1. Select a word or set of words with your mouse.

2. Right-click on the selected text.

3. Select "Search".
